“敬畏耶和華，就是生命的泉源，可以使人離開死亡的網羅。”
從希伯來文的語境裏，生命的泉源代表一種源源不絕、不斷湧動的生命動力。當我們看見神的偉大、主權與恩典時，內心就會生出敬畏，而這份敬畏會成為我們生命深處湧流出來的活水（從神而來的生命力）。
這種從神而來的力量，能引領我們避開生命的險境。死亡的網羅在希伯來語境中是指獵人的陷阱，世上充滿了各種引誘，人若缺乏力量往往會深陷其中，無法自拔。然而，當我們敬畏神時，裡面湧流的生命泉源會給予我們力量，讓我們有能力轉身離開那些誘人犯罪的陷阱，使我們得著真正的安全。
在新的一天，無論是上班還是上學，願我們都保持敬畏神的心，靠著從神而來的力量去離開引誘。

“The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.”
Within the Hebrew context, a fountain of life represents an inexhaustible, constantly surging vital force. When we behold the greatness, sovereignty, and grace of God, a sense of awe and fear arises within our hearts. This fear becomes the living water—a life force originating from God—that flows from the deepest parts of our being.
This strength from God guides us to avoid the perils of life. In the Hebrew context, the snares of death refer to a hunter’s traps. The world is full of various temptations, and if a person lacks strength, they often fall deep into them, unable to extricate themselves. However, when we fear God, the fountain of life welling up inside gives us the power to turn away from those traps that entice us to sin, granting us true security.
In this new day, whether at work or at school, may we all maintain a heart that fears God and rely on the strength that comes from Him to depart from temptation.
