“因為各人必擔當自己的擔子。”
這段經文在人際關係與心理健康中，提供了一個非常重要的「界限」觀念。經文中所提到的擔子，在原文中指的是士兵行軍時個人背負的背囊。這是一種個人必須承擔的責任，而非他人可以代勞的重壓。很多時候，我們在生活中感到壓力重重，並非因為自己的擔子太重，而是因為我們在不知不覺中，替別人背負了不屬於我們的背囊。
當我們面對別人的負面情緒、無理的埋怨或推卸責任時，如果我們因為內疚或過度的責任感而全盤接收，我們便是在替別人背負他們的心理背囊。這不僅讓我們自己疲憊不堪，更剝奪了對方學習成長與承擔責任的機會。真正的愛，並非一味地代人承擔所有後果，而是懂得在智慧中劃清界線。
聖經提醒我們，雖然我們要互相扶持，但每個人最終都要為自己的行為與生命向神負責。建立健康的界限，是為了保護心靈的平安，也為了讓彼此在各自的位分上學習成熟。在這個新的一年裡，求主賜下智慧，讓我們學會靈巧地保護自己，不再被他人的情緒或無理要求所挾持，而是能輕省地背起屬於自己的背囊，行在主的恩典與心靈的自由之中。

“For every man shall bear his own burden.”
In the context of interpersonal relationships and mental health, this passage provides a very important concept of boundaries. The burden mentioned in the scripture refers to the personal knapsack carried by a soldier during a march in the original text. This is a responsibility that an individual must carry, rather than a heavy weight that others can bear on their behalf. Many times, we feel heavily pressured in life not because our own burden is too heavy, but because we are unknowingly carrying knapsacks that do not belong to us for others.
When we face others’ negative emotions, unreasonable complaints, or shirking of responsibility, if we accept them entirely out of guilt or an excessive sense of responsibility, we are carrying their psychological knapsacks for them. This not only leaves us exhausted but also deprives the other person of the opportunity to learn, grow, and take responsibility. True love is not blindly bearing all consequences for others, but knowing how to draw clear boundaries with wisdom.
The Bible reminds us that although we are to support one another, everyone must ultimately be responsible to God for their own actions and life. Establishing healthy boundaries is meant to protect the peace of the soul and to allow each other to learn maturity in our respective positions. In this new year, may the Lord grant us wisdom so that we may learn to protect ourselves skillfully, no longer being held hostage by the emotions or unreasonable demands of others, but instead being able to carry our own knapsacks lightly, walking within the grace of the Lord and the freedom of the soul.
