魔鬼背著一大個沉甸甸的包袱，裏面裝滿大大小小的盒子，都是經他挖空心思，精心設計，要送給基督徒的詛咒。他來到上帝山腳的守山天使關卡。
天使道：「噢！ 魔鬼，又係你啊！」
魔鬼道：「係啊！唔得咩？」
天使笑道：「咁又唔係話唔得，過去啦，過去啦。」
獲得守山天使放行後，魔鬼望向高聳入雲的山巔。雖然心裏有一百萬個不願意，然而，為了他的理想。他咬緊牙關，毅然向山巔出發。當時鐘的分針不知走了多少個圈後，魔鬼終於汗如雨下，氣喘如牛地到達了上帝的山巔了。
上帝道：「魔鬼， 你又來了哦。」
魔鬼道：「回上帝，是的。」
上帝道：「逐盒攞出來看看吧！」
魔鬼道：「這盒A級困難，是送給小明的。」
上帝道：「這困難太大了，不批准。」
魔鬼道：「那麼，換這盒B級困難又怎樣呢？」
上帝道：「這困難也太大了，不批准。」
………….
魔鬼沮喪地道：「那麼，這盒Z級困難可以嗎？」
上帝開心地道：「OK，OK，批准。我會俾足夠恩典小明去勝過這個困難的。」
就是這樣如此這般，魔鬼一盒一盒的，把林林總總對基督徒人生不同範疇的詛咒（如經濟、愛情、事業和學業等等等等），拿出來給上帝批核。
不被上帝批准的盒子，就被丟掉。得到上帝批准的盒子，就被寫上”挑戰”二字，讓魔鬼放回包袱去。最後，魔鬼就帶着無限的挫敗感，沉重的腳步，背着一個比起剛才上山時輕了許多許多的包袱下山去了。
* 我們在人生所經歷到的困難，全部都是經過上帝嚴謹的審核，才讓我們遇見的。並且，上帝必會給予我們足夠的恩典去得勝之。
所以，這些困難，在我們來說，只是挑戰而已。並且是必定能靠主得勝的挑戰哦!
“你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的， 神是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的．在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。” (哥林多前書 十：13)
The devil carried a massive, heavy sack filled with boxes of all sizes. These were curses he had painstakingly and craftily designed to give to Christians. He arrived at the mountain of God and reached the checkpoint guarded by the mountain angel.
The angel said, Oh! Devil, it is you again!
The devil replied, Yes! Is there a problem?
The angel smiled and said, Not at all. Go ahead, pass through.
After being allowed through by the angel, the devil looked up at the peak hidden in the clouds. Although he was beyond reluctant, for the sake of his so-called ideals, he gritted his teeth and resolutely began his journey to the top. After the minute hand of the clock had circled countless times, the devil finally reached the summit of God’s mountain, drenched in sweat and gasping for breath.
God said, Devil, you have come again.
The devil replied, Yes, Lord.
God said, Take them out box by box and let Me see.
The devil said, This is Grade A Hardship, intended for Siu Ming.
God said, This hardship is too great. Not approved.
The devil asked, Then, how about this Grade B Hardship?
God said, This is also too great. Not approved.
…
The devil said dejectedly, Then, is this Grade Z Hardship okay?
God said happily, OK, OK, approved. I will give Siu Ming sufficient grace to overcome this hardship.
And so it went, box by box. The devil presented various curses targeting different areas of a Christian’s life—finances, relationships, career, studies, and so on—for God’s approval.
The boxes rejected by God were tossed aside. As for the boxes approved by God, the word Challenge was written on them before the devil put them back into his sack. Finally, with a profound sense of frustration and heavy footsteps, the devil headed back down the mountain carrying a sack that was much, much lighter than when he had first arrived.
* Every difficulty we experience in life has undergone God’s rigorous review before we encounter it. Furthermore, God will surely give us sufficient grace to overcome it.
Therefore, to us, these difficulties are merely challenges—challenges that we are certain to overcome through the Lord!
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1Corinthians 10:13)
